Silicon Valley Flag Football (SVFF) inaugurated in January 2008 with the primary goal of introducing flag football to the LGBT community in Silicon Valley and the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

The goals of SVFF are:
1. To introduce, teach and play the game of flag football
2. To create a fun, social and closely-knit football group
3. To form a competitive flag football team (Silicon Valley Crash) representing our community and SVFF
4. To eventually form a Silicon Valley Flag Football League

Since our inauguration, over 40 football enthusiasts have come to learn the game and play for fun. Some have played competitively in the past, others are just starting out. In addition, a core group of players established the Silicon Valley Crash flag football team. The team strives to represent our community with pride and sportsmanship.
